PLEASE NOTE: The Powell Library will re-open at 2:30 pm for Janet's retirement reception and the library in Cody will re-open at 3:00 pm. The library in Meeteetse will be open as usual.

New hours: How is Cody going to cope with extended scheduling?

Board – employee relations

WYLD meeting June 18 & 19 in Dubois – who will go?

When will we start using Java Client? (The hold up now I think is the receipt printer issue.)

How can we have smoother operating libraries?

How do we communicate with the public better – more press, more handouts, what?

Do we foresee any budget problems this year?

Should we be frightened about our jobs given the current economic woes nationally and locally.

Will we acquire fewer materials given the expense of other things, like personnel?

1) Missing DVDs. We have noticed that a *lot* of DVDs have been lost. Right now Director's Station shows 30 with a current location of missing, but I'm fairly sure there are more than that. We suspect theft is the main culprit.

2) ILL fees. We hate to suggest raising ILL fees, but given how much postage has gone up, we in Meeteetse are almost always short on our cash report. I don't know what the situation with the other libraries is, but we are losing money. (When I first got here, most packages cost $1.51 or $1.97 to mail.

Those rates are now $2.12 and $2.45, and they will be going up again soon.)

3) multi-part AV items--can we change it so they are not split between libraries? e.g. we have part 1 of the first season of Magnum PI and Cody has part 2. People request both parts at once, so having them split makes life complicated for the ILL folk.

4) email: Will everyone be moving to the parkcountylibrary.org domain? If so, when?
